Clubs and Competitions

For this school year requirements to participate in a STEM club or competition are currently on hold.  As a substitute, there will be added channels in the discord to communicate at least once a week on a specific STEM related topic.  This will fulfill your requirement of active participation in outside of your normal course work 

Seniors- Class of 2021

You are still required to complete your independent capstone project. Here is the tentative rubric.  It was written before we went digital so obviously, the due dates are going to change as we adapt to our new schedule.  Also, it may be very difficult/unsafe for you to participate/choose the internship option.  Please discuss with me ASAP if you want to pursue that option.  

Volunteer Hours

If you have volunteer opportunities you can participate in that you and your parents feel are safe, please feel free to do so.  Our current requirements on volunteering are on hold until further notice. BUT, if you are able to volunteer (especially with our partner Georgia Makes PPE) please help out.  

Zoom Meeting Check Ins

I will be hosting periodic Zoom sessions to check in on all of you during our digital learning time.  Please make sure you are enrolled in the remind (@goshsSTEM) so you can get reminders on when these sessions will be.
